Public Hearing and Reconvening of Regular Meeting
February 23, 2015

Present: T. Nutting, G. Keller, L. Woods, T. Pellegrino, Superintendent R. Miner and Water Quality Support/Administrative Manager J. Lavoie
Excused: J. Comer

Public Hearing(s) as follows:
To discuss the proposed issuance of municipal bonds and notes that may be proposed by petitioned warrant articles.
There were no petitioned warrant articles proposed.

Public Hearing regarding the 2015-2016 Proposed Operating Budget and Warrant Articles for the 2015 Annual Meeting Scheduled for March 31st, 2015 at 7:00 P in the Merrimack Middle School cafeteria on Madeline Bennett Drive.
Board Chairman T. Nutting stated the following:
“I declare the Public Hearing relative to the Merrimack Village District proposed operating budget for the 2015-2016 and Warrant Articles for 2015 open for comments. The notice of this Public Hearing was advertised in the Nashua Telegraph and appeared in the February 11-13, 2015 edition. The Public Hearing notice was also posted on the Merrimack Village District website at WWW.MVDWATER.ORG, the MerrimackTown Hall, Public Library and Post Office.
“The purpose of this hearing is to allow comments from the public in relation to the proposed 2015-2016 operating budget and 2015 Warrant Articles. The Board of Commissioners will not comment during this time. Prior to the public comment period staff will present and explain the proposed operating budget and warrant articles for the Merrimack Village District. During and after this presentation the public may ask questions, request clarification and/or offer comments for the Board’s consideration.
“When all comments have been received I will close this Public Hearing – the Board will go into session to consider action on the proposed 2015-2016 Budget and Warrant Articles.
“Are there any questions about this procedure?”

Close Public hearing
Board Chairman T. Nutting stated the following:
“Seeing no further questions, I declare this public hearing closed. The Board of Commissioners will reopen the session of the Merrimack Village District Board of Commissioners meeting upon conclusion of all Public Hearings for this evening.”

Reconvening of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of 4:00 PM on February 23, 2015 to take action on:
1. Proposed 2015-2016 Operating Budget 2. Warrant Articles – 2015 Annual Meeting 3. Proposed Warrant Articles as may be proposed by petitioned Warrant Articles
No further action was taken by the Board of Commissioners at this time.
Adjourn
A motion was made by T. Pellegrino and seconded by G. Keller to adjourn at 7:19 PM. The motion passed 4-0-0.
